Overview

The following assignments will guide you through building the Kinetic Sculpture architecture.  This is the basis for your final programming this year.

Follow each step and create the code as you go.

Make sure you test everything that you write.

Setup

1. Borrow a Kinetic Sculpture programming stand and power supply from the back table.

2. Plug the power supply into your table's power strip and turn it on if it is off.

3. Plug the power supply into your PCB 12V jack (J1).

4. Plug the Universal Serial Bus (USB) into your Arduino Mega.

5. Turn the main switch next to J1 to ON.

Daily Cleanup

At the end of each period:

1. Turn off your table's power strip.

2. Push in your chair.

3. Carefully store your programming stand and power supply in your green bin.

Check Your Understanding

1. Yes or No: Do you agree to take care of the Kinetic Sculpture programming stand and power supply, returning them undamaged at the end of the rotation or else repair/replace them? 

2. Yes or No: Do you agree to clean up your work area every day?
